Oh, you so smart Tyche. You saw it all before anyone else.
Dirk is like a phoenix. He's about to rise from the ashes of fever and have a 11-14ish type game.
and Lebron's gonna go off for 35 probably right?
Maybe, but that means Wade or Bosh isn't. Dallas isn't a horrible defensive team, even without their 2nd best defensive player (and 2nd best offensive) they still have been able to keep 1 of the 3 down every game - doesn't help that LeBron ends up having to play PG most games.
When Heat figure out how to have their big 3 score 30+ every game then they are unstoppable, might take a good facilitating Pg for that though.
Jordans point totals in finals games.
36,33,29,28,30,39,39,26,32,46,33,31,42,44,55,41,33 ,28,29,36,23,26,22,31,38,26,22,38,38,33,37,24,34,2 8,45.
Got to give Lebron his due though guy had an Amazing triple single game.

it was an all around terrible game.
funny thing is Jordan was aggressive that game he just had an off night. 11-27 fg-fga
I still don't understand why people continuously put LeBron and Jordan in the same conversation. I mean, Kareem's rebuttal to Pippen was a bit ridiculous (Bringing up Wilt Chamberlain and all) but that was a different era. Sure he averaged what 50 points a game and 25 rebounds, but you also have to look at the fact that there were only 8 teams back then and he was a dominant center which seemed like an unfair advantage. Even so you look at the box scores and teams were scoring on average 130-150 points a game.
Jordan's Era is the closest thing we have to the style of play that is going on now. And he is pretty much the standard now when comparing "greatness" in an NBA player. And unfortunately, what it comes down to is that players aren't going to be seen as "Good as" or "Better" than Jordan unless they win 6 titles and 6 MVP's regardless of what position they play. Even if LeBron gets his first title this year, there is going to be that nasty little Asterisk next to that title in a lot of peoples minds because he rubbed NBA fans the wrong way with "The Decision". If he wins a championship, a lot of people including myself will point out that he didn't get the MVP (Def goes to Wade if they win) and so even if Lebron were to stay with the heat and win 6 championships, there is no way he's going to get 6 MVP trophies and he will get left out of the conversation when comparing players to Jordan.
I do think though that in time it will pass and people will stop trying to make the comparison. A lot of people said Kobe was going to be the next Jordan because of their "Similarities" in game play back in the late 90's (tough fadeaways and insane acrobatic shots), but over time it faded away and no one mentions it anymore even with his 5 rings and 2 MVP's. Right now I think the best comparison is Kobe and Lebron. Kobe was on a team where he was the #2 guy behind Shaq and he won his first of three titles being the second guy in command. Lebron is in this same spot, where Wade is #1 and Lebron is #2. We'll just have to wait and see how many Rings and MVP titles Lebron can get and also see if he can get two or more with him as the leader of his own team like he was in Cleavland (Which I don't think he'll be able to do)
I said a bunch of the same shit pages back with the Lebron/Jordan comparisons and how they shouldn't be made...

Niggas aint winning shit if Lebron only scores 8-10, might as well put Dirk's name on a ring if he doesn't show up again. Knew they would lose here, they'll win the next two but god damn tonights game infuriated me with how poorly LeBron played.
Comparisons to MJ are just completely unfair. Even if you look at people like Wilt and Russel, there never have been and probably never will be another set of teams like Ewing's Knicks, Bird's Celtics, Isiah's Pistons, Reggie's Pacers, Stockton and Malone, Payton and Kemp, Clyde, Olajawan, etc.
Jordan absolutely dominated during the NBA's best years, nobody's going to be looked at as "better" by anyone reasonable I believe, but I guess there always could be some real freak eventually.
If Rose is baby Jordan, then Lebron is teen Jordan.
