Generally its the over the hill veterans that get bought out you don't see too many Corey Brewers being released on a team that has no fucking bench unless they're garbage.

You'll be hard pressed to find more then one if even that.

The Celtics lowballed Perkins, they moved him before he left at the end of the year. They figured they could ride out on baby and the Oneals.

Exactly, money is more important than the celtic family. I certainly wouldn't pass on 12mil just to play for an aging celtics team, Perkins is in good shape now
