But hey I guess taking 4 more shots a game than magic is the difference between a true point guard and AI.
I mean really
anyways....
Cya after the game,
magic johnson got a 42/15/7/3 as a rookie in game 6 of the finals without kareem during an era where they allowed hand checking
thats only 1 game and its more pressure than anything d rose has had to face so far
unless you want to talk about when he choke that free throw vs kansas
stop talking about transcendence, the dude is a young marbury with more winning and less crazy
lol, we don't know what having a HoFer along with Rose will do to his game, since he dominates the ball so much from the backcourt all the way to the rim most possessions
both KAJ and Worthy were great at creating shots for themselves, that Magic still had the ball in his hand all the time and created easy shots for them speaks more to his talent as a true PG, not less
just look at them both on fast breaks, Magic hangs back to find an angle to pass, while Rose attacks the basket and lays it up himself. there are other examples but come on, educate yourself
and i'm not sure what you are trying to say with your "little secret" but

lol, what's with your victim complex? i'm completely fine with Rose's game too, it's you and your "D-ROSE is a true PG hurp durp" that's the joke in here
You gotta think you a victim of something to have a victim complex.
you don't? why is it you keep defending him then when everybody in this thread seems to like the guy? lol
seriously? looks like you're defending Magic the last page and a half mr. victim
why the hell do i need to defend Magic?? why does Magic need anybody defending him?? ROFL
oh wait, i get it
because you don't really understand basketball, you seem to think being called a "true PG" is the same thing as being called great, so the D-ROSE fan in you must tag him with the title
no dude, all everybody here has been doing is just telling you that you are stupid and can't differentiate between a point guard and a combo guard
So the fact that he's able to score points means that he isn't a true PG? Lol, wow I guess I've been wrong abut players like Deron Williams this whole time. He is one of the best finishers in the game, so I guess that mean's that he is not a true PG? What about Russel Westbrook? Isaiah Thomas? Tony Parker?
Perfect example is Gary Payton. In his best season, he averaged 24 points and 9.0 assists, and attempted 1666 shots over 82 games. That's roughly 20 shots per game. Did that year make him any less of a PG simply because he was able to score points and shoot efficiently?

I'm done. You're fucking too dumb to handle.
lol, no I got no problem with D-Rose(GOAT) being called a combo guard. I just think It's pretty retarded to use the fact that he scores as a slight against him or any less of a point guard as others.
I think its hilarious that someone who has probably seen less then a handful of games like to draw conclusions from boxscores and claim he knows basketball.
