just look at them both on fast breaks, Magic hangs back to find an angle to pass, while Rose attacks the basket and lays it up himself. there are other examples but come on, educate yourself

Nobody said anything about Rose's character/personality, we are talking about his GAME. And like you guys seem to agree, his team is better when he's aggressive, because he's more talented as a play finisher than an initiator, therefore not a true PG. It doesn't mean he can't pass, but his game lies more in scoring, and to his credit he plays to his strength.

So the fact that he's able to score points means that he isn't a true PG? Lol, wow I guess I've been wrong abut players like Deron Williams this whole time. He is one of the best finishers in the game, so I guess that mean's that he is not a true PG? What about Russel Westbrook? Isaiah Thomas? Tony Parker?

Perfect example is Gary Payton. In his best season, he averaged 24 points and 9.0 assists, and attempted 1666 shots over 82 games. That's roughly 20 shots per game. Did that year make him any less of a PG simply because he was able to score points and shoot efficiently?
