No Garland Goggle for Canada

Another douche move by SquareEnix. They have decided that Canada is clearly not in North America and therefore Canadians do not deserve the same bonuses as the US. Why would they even advertise the bonus content being for North America if this was case...

One of the poster from Eorzeapedia even quoted Square Enix support saying:

"We never had any plans for having preorder bonuses for orders originating from Canada"

That's just completely unacceptable. I'm Canadian and just luckily happen to be living in the US right now. Their language always refers to "NA" or "North America" so they definitely can't claim that we should've known.

I hate how people (especially U.S. citizens) assume that America = the United States of America. "We're Americans!" Yes, we are "of America", meaning we're but one part of America. Canadians are Americans too. So are Mexicans. Panamanians and Brazilians? American.

Canada is part of America, and Mexico is part of America. The three together comprise North America. The northern portion of the entire super continent, America, which is comprised of Northern, Central, and Southern landmasses. Central America is the ismus of countries between Mexico and Columbia.

To be "of" something doesn't make you the only thing "of" that something. To be "of" implies there are "others" that make up what you are "of".

It's not really about the quality of the in-game item. I'm just upset because I purchased the standard edition with the pretense that I would receive this item. As far as I know, Canadians were eligible to obtain the in-game bonus item (Onion Helm) from the collectors edition, why not this?
