Got a problem with my laptop.

The screen is moving up about a quarter of an inch and the part of the screen that was at the top is coming up through the bottom of the screen. It's happening about every five seconds. I've tried system restores and updating my graphics driver so far. It's a Toshiba Satellite M305-S4907. I have to go to work soon, so I won't be able to give you any more information til I get home if you need it.

plug into an external monitor and see if you get the same results.
also restart your pc and enter the bios and see if it does it there, would tell you if its truly a windows problem or hardware side.

It did it in BIOS, but worked fine on my bro's monitor. Could it just be a loose cable? I was tapping the back of the screen just now and it got a little better.

I'm just gonna buy a monitor today, it'll be nice having a bigger screen anyways. Thanks for the replies.
