    American Dad Season 6

    I gotta be honest, Ive never really been that big of a fan, just felt like a secondary outlet for MacFarlane to score some extra dough, but the season opener was actually pretty hilarous.

    They should just cancel Family Guy and focus on this instead

    I sort of agree with that, over the past few seasons, American Dad has been the funnier show to watch; with the exception of them dumbing fancine waaaaaaaay down, it seems to have the better writing and better humor too.

    the 100 deaths thing was a good season opening gag but also a bit too similar to FG's at the same time for my liking, American Dad has the better season opener though.

    I'm also a sucker for the patrick stewart voice over too.

    Since about halfway through the first season, American Dad has been regularly better than Family Guy in every way. The humor is more focused, the characters are far more three dimensional, the satire bites a lot harder, and it still manages to be a hugely surreal TV show (see last season's Xmas episode). I hate Seth MacFarlane, but I love American Dad.

    Yeah, it seems like he'll do anything with Family Guy because people will watch it. I got tired of it when it was random joke after random joke, or Peter being annoying for like 2 minutes when its entirely unnecessary, even to be funny. I've always though American Dad was better since it came out, even though it has some dumb moments too.

    Wow, can't believe it's been 6 years since this thing started. Damn that's as long as Supernatural...

    Didn't follow it after the first season, didn't seem very good back then. I'll have to check it out now.




    But wtf you have to pay for Hulu now???
