Trying to gather the masses. (make XIV better)

Now, before the admins bring down the ban hammer, or i get flamed, allow me to just say this: This is not a QQ thread, but rather a reasonable attempt at trying to get SE to try and make our voices heard. It's a long shot, but it's better than sitting back and letting SE take my money month after month like they did in XI, while nothing the players suggest gets heard.

in XI and XIV, my character name is Naeo, my account here on BG is inveria, because at the time i had to re-make my XI character, i thought of using that name, but never did.

What i am here to say, is this: I'm looking for people to join my cause, nothing outrageous, but simply put, if enough people email and snail mail SE, from all three major continents, it wont be easy to ignore, or hide. I am currently seeking NA, EU, and JP players (though the JP players I'll be looking at their forums obviously)

I am in the process of writing a professional, courteous and above all else, detailed list of things we the players wish to see changed. the 'home' thread was born on ffxivpro.com, but to get the amount of NA players needed, i have to branch out to BG, ZAM, and other hotspot forums used by my fellow gamers.

If enough of us band together, SE wont easily ignore our simple requests. XIV at it's core, has potential, it's a visually beautiful game, but has many many flaws that need to be addressed and as SE has proven time and time again, they'll get around to it when they feel like they've milked us enough, and we deserve the week old table scraps.

To those of you that feel the same as i do, and wish to have things change, i beseech you, join us, help make Eorzea a place that is fun, not some laggy clunky game masquerading around as retail, when it should still be in the dev stages.

I'm all for it but I'm going to be realistic here in saying that if they didn't listen to the feedback they got from testers during the Alpha/CB/OB stages of development, I doubt they would even give this the time of day.

This reminds me of the Pandemonium Warden Drama Lama reaching the 6'oclock news and SE doing something about it. I think that's what it takes for them to listen to the community.

@Noob, it may be idealistic of me, but i intend to see this through, even attempting to get game review sites in on it, maybe not CNN worthy, but i know the JP community is disgruntled about the game as well, and a japanese friend of mine is doing the same i'm doing, just on her side of the world, to try and unify the idea, and get it off the ground.

I'd rather try my damndest and fail, then sit back and twiddle my thumbs while SE sodomizes me with the tails they removed from the galkas, whilst someone from the dev team continues to pocket my monthly fee. simply quitting wont do, I'm too much of a fanboy of SE's work to simply quit and not care, they've been my main RPG source since i was a little kid.

I'm all for trying something. As much as I loved XI before my ban, XIV has been such a disappointment that I don't think I'm going to be renewing my account once the free trial period is up until their's been some major fixes.

I'll update this thread as i update the other ones, it'll probably take a week to gather all the complaints, come up with reasonable solutions, and then i have to go through the grueling process of writing draft after draft until it's worded perfectly.

Unfortunately, dealing with a company like this means i have to put on my polite face, while still hinting at the rage we the players have for their flop of a game =/

I applaud your efforts but tbh this has been tried many many many times, even bertcus used to go meet with the dev team at interviews face to face and they would BS him even when he showed them detailed graphs of how fucked up FFXI's end game was at the time and yet the company still didn't listen/do anything about it until years after most noteworthy people quit.
