Favre did what he does best. Built up our hope and then tore us down. Minnesota's offensive line really isn't that good, and Brett should have stayed retired. Hard for me to admit but we would have better off with Sage Rosencopter at this point in the season. He looks old and beat up before the game even starts, he just looks fuckin awkward trying to move around on that ankle and his arm is bad right now. I think he is distracted with his personal life at the moment as well. If they lose another game or two I wouldn't mind seeing him just call it quits. I don't think any team has ever went 1-4 and won the Superbowl.

Boys are the best non-winning team in the league. They have an outright nasty offense, decent defense, servicable special teams, are able to put up a lot of points, and have Mr. No-on-covers-me Miles Austin running slant routes and shit.

If they had a real coach that could drill some discipline into them, they'd be money. They fall apart in certain pass protection schemes, and the idiots can't stop with the stupid penalties. That being said, nothing makes me happier than to see them at the bottom of the NFC East, and I will savor next week's "Battle of the Superbowl Scrubs" immensely, as one of the teams (hopefully the 'boys) will lose and sink even deeper.

And while I like your self-deprecation, they showed the stats for the Cowboys on Sportscenter - in the top 3 in the NFL in first downs, yards per game, time of possession and something else. Yeah they don't have the wins, but the underlying numbers aren't quite as terrible.

The investigation won't be done in a week. Barring a written confession by Favre, he'll ride this thing on out as long as he can. Don't get me wrong, the Boys are beautiful on paper (offensively) in everything but the wins column. And as we all know, at the end of the day, that's all that matters. With MIN, GB, NYGx2 coming up within the next 5 weeks, they might put themselves in a hole that they can't recover from.

Cedric Griffin is out for the year with an ACL in his other knee, after just returning from an ACL. I think that's why he acted so weird when he got hurt - just kind of an "are you fucking kidding me?" with a laugh. Vikings' secondary's got some problems.
