That was more of Mangina being a moron. He wouldn't declare a starter and would alternate between three of em all year.

Peyton Hillis is the fucking man, the less I see of Jerome Harrison, Mike Bell or any other tailback, the better.

mangina thinking about starting McCoy on sunday. I'd hate to see that kid's confidence sunday night after his debut against the steelers in Pittsburgh...

but colt mccoy has the most college wins ever, surely that success will transfer over to the nfl, i mean most of the guys on the steelers went to college at some point

It sucks that he's injured, but it especially sucks that he got injured tackling a guy who picked up a fumble lost by the #2 tight end. Fucking Donald Lee.

Reports are favorable for Rodgers' concussion issue, but they have to do all kinds of tests both at rest and after exertion before he's cleared for Sunday. Probably won't know til Thursday at the earliest it seems.

    whats even suckier then that?

    his quote after the game.

"I ain't a defensive player," said Finley, who regrets trying to make the tackle. "I shouldn't have done it."
what a little bitch. he lost some cool points for that remark.

He'd be a little bitch if he didn't make an effort and said that quote afterwards. But he did it, and in hindsight he was right.

Nah he still a little bitch. Plenty of star players even Star QB's have tackled or at least attempted to tackle after an INT and haven't gotten hurt.

What this tell us is he probably won't be attempting it the next time it happens.

    :eyeroll:

I just hope we don't have to DL him - he's supposed to be out "8-10 weeks", so either he takes up a spot on our injury-depleted 53-man roster and we hope to make the playoffs and have him around, or we DL him and he's done.

He's not out for the year until he's on the DL. The decision hasn't been made, recovery estimate is 8-10 weeks.

Do you have a source saying he's on the DL yet?
After Greg Bedard also reported on his twitter account that tight end Jermichael Finley will be out longer than the original three weeks expected following surgery, there is a new update. Bedard has learned from a source that the surgery revealed more damage than initially thought and that Finley is likely done for 2010.

ANOTHER UPDATE: Just got off the phone with Bedard. He said the Packers doctors originally thought they would have to remove Finley's meniscus, which would have actually meant a quicker return to the field for the tight end. But during surgery, they discovered they could repair the meniscus, which in turn means a longer recovery but a better long term prognosis for Finley in the long run. Finley's recovery is expected to now be 8-10 weeks and the Packers are deciding whether or not to wait for his return.

At this point it would be foolish to carry him for 10 weeks. Especially with all the injury problems the packers are experiencing atm.

    On twitter 2 hours ago:
Jermichael Finley Go Pack Go. Im coming back for Play Offs and the Super Bowl. See ya then!

He'll be done for the season if they don't want to hold the roster spot for him, just depends on what the packers do.

preseason 06 portis ruined his whole damn season making a tackle after an interception. terrell davis ruined his CAREER making a tackle after a fumble. im sure there is a buttload more but those are just the first two that came to mind. really cant hate on an offensive player that doesnt want to get hurt making a tackle. i still remember like 3 years ago when kurt warner got exploded by an entire host of redskins when he was trying to make a tackle, idk how he didnt die.

Derrick Martin - a backup safety playing for Morgan Burnett who is done for the season, however, is done for the season now too.

If our DL and PUP list was healthy it alone would be half of a damn fine team.

    Please.

Then who would you have chasing after DB's? 300LB Olineman? I mean if 'star' players are gonna throw their hands up in the air after a TO then whats the point of tackling them at all? Just let them score
