mad Props to Tavaris Jackson on the attempt
Of course
Didn't say otherwise. My gripe with him is the quote afterwards.
I don't care what the tackle is - if it's the tackle I blow my knee out on, I'm gonna wish I didn't try to make it afterwards.
reminded me a lot of
in his smugness
Part of me feels like Rodgers shouldn't play this weekend. Concussions aren't something to fuck around with, and one bad hit could make it come back. Our O-line doesn't look all that great at the moment either, so it isn't that far out of the question. I'd hate to see Rodgers get Aikman'd this early in his career. But it could also not be too bad of a concussion either and this is a moot point. Flynn looked pretty good in preseason (but so did everyone else on the Packers, and yeah) and I'd rather have Rodgers 100% for Minnesota.
i dont think its as black and white as you are making it out to be. Obviously i want offensive players to make tackles when they should but i cant fault them if they dont want to dive into a dude where they could get seriously fucked up. yea they should always run them out of bounds when they can, or you know drag a guy down but they dont need to be diving into shit.
would you rather have matt forte out for season cuz he made a tackle or go down 6 points and have your RB for the rest of the year.
Matt Forte Can get wrecked pass blocking doesn't mean he shouldn't do it.
Obviously there can be some exceptions to that like Brett Favre trying to Run Block which is stupid but if you're a football player people expect you to go all out especially in an important game.
A good comparison is Warren sapp in the last days as a Buc was used as a Goal line reciever/blocker and the Fridge.
You can't go into the game pussyfooting trying not to get injured.
He either passes the tests and I feel fine about it, or he doesn't and he doesn't play. There's lingering symptoms or there isn't really. There's a spotlight on it now and I trust the medical personnel to do the right thing, but if he's cleared then I definitely want him in there, this Dolphins game is winnable with him but would be a serious challenge without him, and right now we need to put some wins together.
I'm a bit morbidly curious to see how Flynn would do, but I don't want it to come to that.

At least he has good taste. God damn.
Just listening to Brett in his press conference talking about his arm injury, he not only sounded like he was about to cry, but also like he was about to quit.

lol. Hope he doesn't play this week... then again I hope he does if he can't throw the ball more than 5 yards. Also if he retires, I called it.
