As for other triple games that are multiplayer and not shootan, LBP is a decent option, Scott Pilgrim vs The World: The Game, TMNT: Turtles In Time Re-Shelled and Castle Crashers are solid choices for an arcade-style beat-em-up with up to 4 people; Lara Croft And the Guardian of Light is a good Gauntlet-style adventure, (and they also have Gauntlet II itself); Puzzle Quest is available, if that's your thing; and there is also Worms.
