Slaving Hard drive

Is there any way I can slave a desktop hard drive to my Lenovo T510 using any of the default ports? I have a stand-alone surveillance DVR I need to reformat but I work off my T510. I was hoping there was some kind of adapter I could use. Thanks

I'm going to have to pull the hd first to see what I'm working with. This will also give me a chance to order a few extra adapters for free since my work will cover it.
