Fuck, had a runny nose from the damn weather change-up (ooh, 50 degrees, wait... 85 degrees... oh, nope, 50 degrees), blew a big snot bubble when I laughed at this, which made me laugh more. Damn you.

I recall a couple lucid dreams, one I decided I was obviously indestructible, so I jumped off a high school gym roof, another I leapt around like the Hulk... most recently I saw Sarah Palin and thought "fuck, I'm dreaming" so I grabbed her tits then woke up.

I rarely ever have nightmares, but if I do, it's almost always involves fucking spiders. Even then it's not nightmarish more than oh god, not this shit again ::gets bitten in dream, feels the pain as pins and needles sensation, realizes he's asleep and decides to wake up cause hatred of spiders::

Occasionally it's swarm of bees or other insects biting/stringing, and I know I'm A) dreaming and B) whatever's tingling just fell asleep, and it's ruining my dreams.

It's pretty rare to get dreams like that though, usually they involve sex or weird fantasy adventures that also rock. (or both). Interestingly enough, I never have straight sex dreams, only gay ones, despite a lot of straight guys saying they occasionally have gay ones. Guess I hate the boobies that much. <_<; Or my subconscious just knows what it likes.

I generally don't go lucid and realize I'm dreaming, but my dreams do tend to be rather vivid, either being clear, and occasionally actually involving sensations, such as smells, or the feel of the wind, or other such things. Those ones tend to be the most fun. Ever since I started keeping a dream diary my dream recall is improving as well, going from "I can't remember 3 out of 5 dreams I have" to "I remember every night, oftentimes recalling up to three dreams"

Last nights was wierd, at one point I was walking through a mountain forest that was remeniscent of the Sanctuary of Zi'tah, though only with the whole mist/Xboxhuge trees/water thing. Interestingly enough, it was possible to climb them, and apparently monks were supposed to get some item for their job from them. I think FFXI was on my mind because the old lady I was traveling with said that equipping those spiked knuckles, and gearing for critical hits, you could punch into the trunks of the trees with critical hits, and climb up that way by repeatedly punching the trunks and using the spikes on the knuckles to your advantage. Apparently there was some super rare treasure if you made it to the top of the trees, but it was over 1300 feet high. <_<;

There was also a spring that would temporarily restore youth, but it turned out to be more of a heated swimming pool with a house attached. XD Strangely enough though, it was protected by a magical seal though, and it worked on the old lady, so I guess its power was real.

Probably the freakiest dream I had though was a daydream, where I was kept awake by noise outside but had my eyes closed. All of a sudden the image of my wall and a black thing crawling on it appeared for a second, then I realized it was a spider and felt uneasy, then I opened my eyes, and turned my head a bit, and there it was, the exact way I saw it in the dream. I never felt my eyes open and I was still conscious, and when I first saw it it was at a slightly different angle from what I saw in my dream, till I turned my head. That one caught me off guard.

The way I saw though seemed the same way I saw the image of a beach and a volcanic cliff of an island when under a ganzfeld though, a visual hallucination instead of a dream, that disappears if you get too excited. (in the cliff's case, it basically exploded into fragments of light that faded out in a second) I'm very bad at ganzfeld, I always fall asleep... but if you ever want to see a really freaky but neat experiment, look up how to make your own, for the price of a ping pong ball, some clear tape, a red light, and an mp3 player to play white noise. :D

Speaking of bad dreams, I had a dream recently where this friend I work with had a three foot long dick. I'm not making this up. He carried it around in a sling that tied in a knot around the back of his neck, and was banging it on metal benches behind people to scare them with the noise, and then they'd turn around and he'd yell "3 FOOT DICK!!" and start laughing his ass off at them. I had the thought, "I wonder why nobody else is mentioning that the size of that dick is fucking rediculous... am I small dicked? I probably shouldn't be the first one to mention it" And then I woke up. Without morning wood, thank god.

Some wierd dreams have coincided with me taking an extended leave of absence from ffxi the last few weeks, among other changes I've noticed in my perception and behavior. The human mind is certainly a mystery.

when i was younger i had a recurring nightmare where i was running from the raptors from Jurassic Park, holy shit did that scare the fuck out of me when i was little. after about the 5th time having the nightmare and not being able to wake up i tried to control it and i actually found a shotgun and killed those fuckers and i never had the dream again, its weird thinking about it now and its also awesome how dreams can change the way you think and react to shit.

Also some of the dreams i have had recently i cant control the entire time, its like a movie reel where i pick certain changes and what happens next depending on what i am thinking at that moment and after that the dream continues and i am unable to control it further.

I tend to dream about whatever activity dominated my day. Video games haven't given me the ability to have control in nightmares. Instead I am playing the same game and waking up to no progress. I once woke up swearing I had b. haidate. Made myself very sad when I logged in.

Anybody have those "chasing" dreams when you were a kid, where you were getting chased by something? I used to have one of a bowling ball chasing me around the neighborhood and house. I could always tell when I was about to fall off the bed IRL because I'd always jump from into some crazy bottomless pit before I woke up tangled in my sheets and covers on the floor. One time it was the top of the basement steps; another time it was off the roof.

I had dreams where something vaguely resembling cookie monster after it had been Kerberoz'D into a horrific toothy monster rising out of the ground was chasing me.

I went up a tree and started smashing at it with a stick which broke, perhaps that explains my longing for an unbreakable stick... and dislike of the cookie monster.

I had this exact dream in the same sequence so many time...This is probably my worst nightmare. I can deal with monsters fine, but this shit...scary.

Also, it's rare for me to be chased in my dreams, but it's generally gigantic spiders or a tornado. No clue why. Oddly enough, I never have dreams of being naked in front of a crowd, though I might be naked for sex. <_<; I never have dreams of mundane ordinary life either, since I never worry about such things like deadlines I guess. I do have dreams of class sometimes, but its generally weird classes.

Oh yeah, I was riding with my grandpa in his pickup back in like 1982 through Dallas, tornado chased us up I-35, I have occasional tornado nightmares now.

I think I've had that one once. I pretty much never remember my dreams, just pass out and wake up.

I respectfully disagree, the worst are when you actually drive to work in your dream, and wake up realizing you're late.
