Buying 108 mounts of varying expenses is a pretty good way to lose your gold.

For instance, I paid 25K for my Ironbound Proto Drake, 8K for my Grand Ice Mammoth, and I'm gonna drop 16K on the Traveler's Tundra Mammoth tomorrow(although that one is actually extremely useful because it has a portable vendor on it)
