FFXIV Flame Wars Thread: because ten threads is not enough threads

I'm giving LoTR mmo another shot with a few friends (played it years ago for a few level, but my shitty computer couldnt handle it). The characters model look like ass, but the world is really nice so far with maxed graphics (having lot of fun exploring it).

I think it's funny that the game is way more playable than FFXIV (and 5 years in development has nothing to do with it, since the beta was very similar so far).

I keep reading through the thread.........and you keep posting the most asinine shit.

You post Lotro is more playable. Then in the same sentence you post the reason why its more playable and then say that doesn't matter? You do realize no one here really takes you seriously right?

I don't think Hyan is whiteknighing as much as before. I still disagree with him but unlike Mioko and CP, he isnt systematically defending everything.

I defend ffxiv on its good qualities and nothing more. Ignoring the potential the game has while solely focusing on its flaws makes you the ignorant one not me. You want to argue about how it should've released or some of the core issues the game has that will seemingly never be addressed fine. But we don't get that from you. I'm actually curious where you get all this. Mind going back to my original quote and point me what part confuse you?

1- I mentioned that LoTR look pretty good despite the shitty character model.
2- I stated that LoTR is (and was even during the beta) more playable than FFXIV.

The only confusion might come from "playability", but I didn't think anyone was shallow enough to confuse "my computer cant handle the game" to "this game is unplayable". It's obviously 2 differents things we're talking about.

About no one giving a fuck, prove it. The odd that someone give this game a thought after reading about it is not zero. I've seen it happen quite often in the past with games/animes/mangas.


And since you gave me the opportunity to talk about it again, might as well plug some screenshots.

Free game, beautiful world. Not for everyone, but if exploring a world is your thing, it's worth a shot.
