No problem. I'm personally just glad to see one of these games that isn't suffering from a massive gameplay identity crisis. Found a really good way to build up tons of cash early in the game too. Well, it works forever, but when stuff starts costing 27,000 to upgrade it's pretty pointless.

what is this secret way to build up lots of early cash? <.<;; I'd like to know. All my fishing spots are jack useless, keep finding nothing but 50 gold needlefish and the like.

On another note however, bartering prices stacks multiple times sometimes, so I just haggle prices and if it goes up after a few attempts at it, I haggle again to try to get it up a second time, then sell the suddenly much more profitable items. :D

Of course, it often fails and you gotta exit the buy screen and enter it again to reset the price of that item. I'm pretty sure you can haggle the sell price more than two items higher too, since I had it fail 3 times once and it barely sold for anything at all.

This game really is a lot more fun than frontier, which was very awesome since even that game kicked ass.

So this one's decent ? I've never played Rune Factory (Atre's tried to convince me in the past) but I'm liking the look of this one.

Pretty much. Buy milk in the inn, turn it into hot milk, sell back for a profit. The margin is big enough that you can buy 7-8 milk and 1 plate of pickles and do it endlessly by recovering the amount of RP you spend with the pickles.

It's not terribly effective and it works better when it's a sale day, but it's an easy way to build up a stockpile of cash and do some upgrades to the house and your cooking skill early on.

By the time you get some good monsters and a plant with high enough friendship to grow emery flowers though, you won't need it. Fucking flowers sell for 2800 a piece and barter up to over 3.1k on average. Money isn't incredibly hard to come by about midway through the game, I'm sitting on about 130k right now and just waiting for James to have a sale day to buy all the master upgrades to the crafting benches.
