my advisor last week told me to drop french because it was stupid to take an intensive foreign language course w/ an intensive english course

i told him (more or less) that i wasn't a pussy

today, my french teacher made a meeting with me to go over how i can not get a 70 in her class

apparently i was pulling a 70 in her class and i don't know how that happened but she assured me that it will no longer be so

this one girl in my class somehow speaks with an imitated quebecoise (?) accent and i don't know how it happened that she took all the same classes as me and invented this accent

my french teacher does not call on her in class because of this

the only word i notice is "oui" but the first day the teacher said something about her speaking really funny like a man from quebec and laughed

rocl, your french pronunciation is probably better than mine (which is admittedly improving very nicely) and there is no way your accent is more retarded than mine because i have been mistaken as romanian on one occasion and been asked whether i am a native english speaker before

her beef was she thought i wasn't paying attention/sleeping in class when in actuality i was just avoiding eye contact with her because every time she's looked me in the eye she prompts me to speak in french and that is just terrible
