    Since no cable box, power cycling won't really matter.

    Only other thing I can think of, is to go into the tv menu and make sure the picture is not set to "zoom"

    Yeah I did that, it has normal, panoramic, zoom 1/2 none of them work D: Set to Panoramic by default.
