WTS Used super light laptop

Its a Toshiba Portege R500 laptop. I'm asking $550 for it, but willing to negotiate price.

This laptop is used. There is some cosmetic wear on the keyboard; however it works perfectly and is very durable. The keyboard is nice and springy, the mouse pad is smooth ( no annoying bumps!) and the screen is in perfect condition. It is my personal laptop and I will be using it till it sells (so you know its works just fine~). I will put a new factory installation of windows XP pro on it when it sells.

This laptop has 3 USB ports and it is only 2.4 pounds. It has a CD/DVD RW drive, a SD card slot, and built in wireless and Bluetooth. I also have put in a brand new internal fan.

I would be surprised if you get anymore than 350 for that to be honest. Best buy and other online vendors offer better specs, for the same price, with a warranty.

on ebay they have been selling around $400-$700. I know the specs aren't spectacular, but the main novelty of this laptop is its one of the lightest on the market. ultra portability with a nice laptop that has respectable power, not some silly netbook xD

I know I have to sell it on the cheaper side, since I'm not one of those refurbishing companies that can offer a small warranty. I know this laptop will hit a rather small market of interested people, most people have no problem hefting a heavy laptop around if they need more then a netbook can offer, but i figured i would post here just in case someone was interested.

Even my netbook has a faster processor, more RAM, and a larger HDD than this laptop. And this R500 that you're trying to get $550 for only has a 2" larger screen than a netbook that costs $200... Good luck and all, but try to be more realistic.
