Favorite FF Theme of All Time

After giving this much thought, it's impossible to pick a song from just one series and label it my favorite, since each game has handfuls of songs that I loved. However, I have come up with a song that is present in every game, and this video actually lists all of them as a combined song.



Hard to not love the Crystal theme, it's like the cornerstone of the series.

I'm not sure if I can pick a favorite, but you're not alone was one of the best track in the series. I loved the scene where it was played, and I loved the song.

FF9 had so many great track that I could listen all day (oeilvert, the hunt festival,vamo alla flamenco, freya's theme, burmercia..etc), but my favorite, tied with You're not alone is Beatrix's theme. Both version of the song (the slow one, and the one used in battle) give me chill.




It's a fan made remix with lyrics, but it's pretty damn good.

I can't decide on my favorite FF theme, but almost every track from 1 - 10 are amazing. FFXII would DEFINITELY be Cerobi Steppe, FFIX to me its Place of Memories, but You Are Not alone is pretty fucking boss to. Main Theme of Final Fantasy VII, along with Cosmo Canon. Favorite fight theme is definitely FFXIII without a doubt, boss theme is Final Fantasy VII's... FF6 has a lot of memorable themes that I'm sure I don't even have to mention. (<3 you Celes)

Nobuo Uematsu is definitely the best thing to ever come out of Squaresoft hands down.

I kind of feel like posting an Owen Pallett song just to be a smart ass, but my real favorite FF theme is the opera from FFVI (how original). I have an amazing orchestrated version on my PC.

This one's almost always overlooked due to the nature of the fight (i.e. dead in a couple of rounds if you're properly levelled), but I think it's one of the best boss battle themes from any game I've played:

FF mystic quest was an awesome 10 hours rpg with a terrible story. I loved it when I was a kid. It's actually not that great, but I always thought the gameplay was very rewarding.

My bad, I believe in game the prelude shows up after Melodies of Life in the final cutscene, sorry didn't really think properly about when it came up
