http://www.computerandvideogames.com...ry-demo-dated/Capcom plans to launch a DmC demo in late November, giving players the chance to sample developer Ninja Theory's reboot of the Devil May Cry series.
The publisher told Zavvi that the demo is currently scheduled to land on Xbox Live and PSN on Tuesday November 20 and Wednesday November 21 respectively
Apparently there's a "very small chance" that the demo launch date could change.

I like how every one of those pictures is slanted somehow.
So is that supposed to be the regular edition or the CE? that necklace looks like some bad junk jewelry, at least from that pic.
http://tech2.in.com/news/gaming/capc...may-cry/554262Capcom has announced extra difficulty modes for its upcoming stylish action game – DmC: Devil May Cry. According to a post on the Capcom Unity blog, the game will have three difficulties by default – Human, Devil Hunter and Nephilim – but more difficulties will get unlocked as you complete previous difficulty modes. The new difficulty modes are named Son of Sparda, Dante Must Die, Heaven or Hell, and Hell and Hell.
In the Son of Sparda difficulty, enemy layouts will be remixed, and the enemies will exhibit smarter behaviour and will be generally tougher. Dante Must Die will be the same as Son of Sparda, but will feature the toughest enemies that the game can throw at you along with insane attack waves. Heaven or Hell mode has remixed enemy layouts, but everything and everyone – Dante included – will die in one hit. The last difficulty setting, Hell and Hell, will be like Dante Must Die, but Dante will die in one hit.
So It's a CE that starts you off at the 4th highest difficulty unlocked.
I hope the plot ends up being the best among the DMC games.
Fuck yeah Hell or Hell is back and even harder than DMC4. In that it was only Son of Sparda difficulty enemies, I hope it's true it's DMD here (and that DMD is comparable to the other games). Here's hoping the game is actually well made enough to sustain such a difficulty too...
Training mode confirmed
http://www.capcom-unity.com/gregaman...the-night-awayAs a special mode, DmC will offer players a "practice dojo" where they can hone their combo style and hammer out the more difficult techniques. The mode will even give you a command list that switches in real time depending on what weapon you have selected and where you are.

Game feels like its growing on me. I like my old Dante fairly-corny attitude but this does look like fun. Wonder how much the collector type edition will go for.
UK retailers list the vanilla version at £39.99, so probably another 15~20 on top of that.
http://www.computerandvideogames.com...-run-at-30fps/Director Hideaki Itsuno has stated that although Devil May Cry on PS3 and Xbox 360 will run at 30 frames per second, it will still feel like it's running at a smooth 60fps.
During the development of Dragon's Dogma with Unreal Engine, Itsuna and his team discovered several tricks and techniques to create the impression that a game is running at 60fps, even if it's running at a mere 30fps.
In an interview with Eurogamer, Itsuno admitted that 60fps "would be better," but is adamant that DmC will be responsive enough to please fans.
Itsuno wasn't ready to reveal exactly how the effect is achieved, but did reveal that is simply a trick of the mind.
"60 frames per second is the speed the brain and the eye can catch up with and understand, Itsuno said, "but at 30 frames per second there's a technique where you take advantage of the brain's ability to fill in the blanks."
"So even though you have it running at 30 frames per second, you create the motions and poses in such a way that the brain will naturally fill in what would have been the extra frames. Also, on the players' side we made some adjustments to the button response and when its reflected on screen," Itsuno added.
Itsuno said that action games running at 60fps per second can have a tiring effect on players, and the choice to run the game at 30fps, allowed Ninja Theory to create "the best visual style they were looking for."
Technical art director, Stuart Adcock added, "hopefully it's something that feels a lot more of a visual feast. We just kept thinking, the game is a stylish game, but that's not just on the combat. We need to think of it for every aspect. Running at 30 allowed us to be able to do that to a certain extent."

Nice. Finally somebody that knows how to play DMC.
Looking pretty good. Gameplay seems to be pretty much what you'd expect from a DMC game. I think I even saw a few JC Helm Breakers in there.
