Vergil actually looks decent (his teleport looks dumb though), but then I remember that YOU CAN'T LOCK ON so yay. And their stylish play still looks boring, but then again this isn't combo video DmC is it?
Brea tried to make a combo video from the demo and that just looked sad. Hopefully the full release will be better.
I'ce decided I'm not going to buy DMC, at least not anytime soon. I still have a lot of games that I haven't touched from black friday and steam sales and free ps+ games.
plus dead space3 and Revengeance come out in Febuary, Naruto and Bioshock in March (assuming Bioshock doesn't get pushed back again.
Agreed, it seems to be the same 1 or 2 scythe moves over and over. Too much airtime for my liking, seems to involve slapping the mobs up into the air more than anything. Not much gun usage either.
EDIT: The stages/bosses look amazing though ... ! Very fucked up/intriguing.
I also liked the "multi-grip" move showcased in one tiny segment.
Hopefully there's a Nelo Angelo/Vergil DMC3/Credo boss somewhere ...
Every time I think I'm going to give this game another chance I get 30 seconds into a video and remember the music is absolute shit.
Did Dante always have the white spot of hair on the back? If not, maybe "reach your full potential" leads to all white hair.
Oh, who am I kidding. No one gives a fuck about this game.
I also can't bring myself to care about a game where the protagonist's hair isn't white.
But, on a more serious note; Why haven't any of the interviewers asked if this game will include Turbo Mode? That just might make me want to buy it at full price, since the gameplay isn't horrible. Not DMC3/4 level, but not horrible.
Is it bad that I want this to turn out to be the Dredd of gaming, where every one think its gonna fail but it turns out to be the hidden gem of the season?

Swedish magazine LEVEL has reviewed DmC Devil May Cry and they have given it a great 9/10 score.
The review praises the game a lot and has mentioned that there is a lot of fun variation in the level design: Dante swings between platforms, avoids incoming trains and explores vertical sewers. The multiple stage transformations throughout the game is well integrated in the story that is being told.
Ninja Theory is taking a more serious approach than Capcom in the story-department. The controls in DmC isn’t as good as in the previous DMC-games – it’s much better. It has also been mentioned that DmC veterans will feel at home and there’s a high level of skill required to unleash chain combos.
Basically all the changes has been for the better good; combining Devil May Cry’s deep, sophisticated action with the modern action-adventure stage-design.
The review is extremely positive and it looks like Ninja Theory have nailed the game. It will be released on January 15th for the PS3 and Xbox 360; and on January 25th for the PC.

Probably not.
Is gamechup known of sucking developer dick like ign is? What I mean is, can their review be trusted?
