Actually like that demon trigger gameplay. Finally got around to watching the demo analysis, and all I saw was complaining that the game is called devil may cry. The game looks exactly like what a child between ninja gaiden and devil may cry would be; and I'm not convinced that's a bad thing just yet. He complains about a lack of lock on, but then has no trouble connecting blows with an enemy (for reasons I pointed out earlier, and not a big deal to any one who loves NG). Then complains about the lack of options you get because of no lock on, like some how ninja gaiden had a lack of combo options because of a lack of lock on (it didn't and there's no reason to think that this won't either). Stances are kind of gone, replaced with heaven/hell stances which I'm not sure how that will play out yet but thus far it seems like a step back, not necessarily a complete miss.
This game is just different now, but not necessarily for the worst. Definitely going to wait and see, but unless its a complete bomb ill at least pick it up after a price drop. But yeah, now I'm convinced every one wants to give the game a chance but won't because its called Devil May Cry and has an emo looking Dante.
