Fifa 11

I didn't see a thread for this, so I figured I'd give it a shot. I picked this up a few days ago, and it's pretty amazing. The control, ball physics, and general graphics are fantastic... the only real problem I'm having is I can't get the ball through a defense. Is anybody else playing this? I usually become obsessed with Fifa games and always considered myself to be a decent player, so I picked a crappy German team (Eintract Frankfurt) to use as opposed to a big club, and I've had like 7 out of my last 8 games end in 0-0 draws. My defense is strong enough to not lose, but I can't f'ing score.

It's making me rage pretty hard. Halp! Anybody figure this crap out yet?

Could probably merge threads, but I guess in the meantime, here's my question......

Are there any good Fifa players here, that try to move the ball through the middle as opposed to just grabbing a team with a fast winger (ex. Ronaldo exploit) and just run the ball the hell around the defense and shoot or center it? If so, do you go over the top more, or use through balls, and do you have any formation suggestions? I'm trying to avoid playing the whole game on the wings and actually go through the center, but once I get the ball in the front third the defense just totally collapses on me. It doesn't seem like there's enough space to maneuver. I guess that's the reason why players tend to use the speedy winger technique in the first place, because it's just easier, but after a few years of playing Fifa I was hoping to keep it real, so to speak. Fucking game looks beautiful, but playing with a 3 star team and not going to the wings every time is going to give me an aneurysm.
