Just fought it last night ; I wasnt using movement speed and it outpaced me ; the pld had 12% and it stayed about the same distance away from them. Add in poor pathing and they were fine.

It's an annoying NM, for sure, and one of those times I wish I knew how to go about editing the names of PH mobs to make the process easier. All I can ask is if you're on the right level, really. It's hard to describe, but if you're coming from the south, there will be a somewhat wide open area by the mountain where when running north you'll first find a fence to the left leading down, then eventually one to the right leading up. You'll want to stay in the middle, not really needing to stray far past where the fence on the left ends/reconnects with the area below. The best I've heard about the PHs is the bats that spawn a bit earlier than normal are the possibles, but between running up and down the path as well as the other bats popping, it's easy to lose track.

The mob didn't move between the two pics. All I did is very slightly rotate the camera. And it vanished from my screen, but was still targetable.

As I approach the archway, the flag flickers between the main pic in the inset.

Can this be fixed with either different drivers or changing the settings in my NVIDIA control panel? If so, how?

Couple of technical issues I've been having....

1. For some reason, at random times when I'm running around, my character get stuck in auto-run, and theres absolutely no way to make him stop. It always seems to sort of run at an angle too, never straight. The only way to make it stop is to shut down the game, logging out does nothing. Any ideas on whats causing this?

2. Ever since I started using Windower, my map screen/region screen lags like holy hell when theres alot of people around. It gets to the point that I can barely move my cursor around, forcing me to run to somewhere where there isn't anyone else on my screen to look at the map. Is there a fix for this?

Are you playing on a laptop? When I was, I'd have this happen - as well as the camera getting stuck panning on one direction, or zooming in too close.

It can be "fixed" by pressing in the appropriate button (which varies)... but it's annoying if you need to frantically push buttons to prevent your character from running off into a field of aggroing mobs.

To prevent it, I'd use a USB keyboard. No idea what was causing it exactly... maybe thumbs hitting the touchpad or something.

I always chalked this up to random mouse input coming in when you tab back into windower from something else. I could easily be wrong/crazy though.

Atma farming, when you don't have another SAM (or NIN with GKT) but do have another WAR?

So what was the Vbhuj NM strat again because that was just a huge failure.

Only got it to 40% before the fanatic's wore off.

I went through 2 Fanatics (powder and drink) as well as 2 wings, revitalizer, and a megalixir and got it down to 15%. Then it decided to Gorge me for 2800 or something dumb and kill me while Fanatics is up. I don't see how it's doable without at least one other there to absorb Gorge.

Oh well, I'll just keep rune chopper. I don't use war much anyways. Waste of stone time between bastion points and finding the NM (Fucking took 20 mins to find it again after waiting on meditate recast)
