Wait and see how good club emp ws is, although it's likely something starlight style anyway. If WoE isn't best, your next best is going to be either the stp if it reduces your rounds to 100, or the ws dmg +10%. Fairly certain the only way a str weap is going to even have a chance to beat out either of those for any job is if you have a ws with a pure str mod, and that may well not even do it.

Because it changed to nighttime. They aggro sneak at night. Limules aggro blood at night, not sure if they aggro anything else.

Askar body, gorgets, heafocs, timarli, veloce, belenos, all I can think of off the top of my head that's "easy".

Also fuck blitz, you'll be capped soon and wishing you hadn't when they drop back to 10k in a month or 2. Although it's not like gil matters at this point, it might after abyssea.

You should prob do stp axe if you want to put in the effort to get the rest of what you need for 5hit. Otherwise should prob do wsdmg+10%, especially if you cleave a lot.

Working on Askar body, but had such shitty luck it might just be faster to farm up pops to get Aurum. I really do need to get off my ass and do Gorgets. Heafoc mitts are a good catch, didn't even think about them. Timarli (assuming you mean dastanas) I'm a little skeptical of; seems like a lot of work to farm/kill him, and I think I can cap haste without them with my 'ideal' build (veloce, dusk gloves, emp+2, emp+2, goading). Been killing a few Sippycups, so veloce is just a matter of winning the lot on them. Belenos is good, but I'm pretty sure I'll need Tactical in order to make the build I'm aiming for.

Yeah, that's the reason for a lot of my hesitation in buying Blitz, I figure I can cap haste without it pretty soon, so Hoard ring is a much more likely candidate.

I don't cleave enough to warrant the WS damage axe, but STP would be a good placeholder until all my gear comes together, I guess. If I did my math right, I should be able to fudge a 5-hit build assuming 2 ticks of regain/damage and 1+ extra hit of RR, even with somewhat gimp gear and the STR GAX. What I'm looking at, specifically, is:

GAX/rose/blank/white
veloce/almah/attila/brutal
Askar/dusk/hoard/rajas
Tactical/Goading/Emp/Emp

Putting me at a total of 35 gear, 15 /sam for 50% STP, so 19.5tp per regular swing (482 delay GAX), would have to WS in Askar for now (30 STP, 16.9 main hit, 1.3 off hits) in order to get to 96tp in 5 hits. All of them are somewhat easy to get except Goading, so I'll have to cover the distance there with Carbonara until I can manage it. Also would be working on Aurum so I can get rid of Askar during WS.

Messing around in highlands recently I noted to a friend that Dybbuk may have an exceptionally high pearl rate since we went 4/5 on the ones we killed. Random is random, but worth a shot IMO.

Sumeru+1 is 488 not 482, it 5 hits at 52 stp, 50 stp will have you 5 hitting with VV easily.

LS attendance has plummeted to ~6 on a good night, so at this point I think we're better off farming multiple sets until we get the !! to proc on one of the weaponskills we can trigger.

Eve, while killable, seems like a waste of time since it's a bitch to get pops for (~3 hours of large gold chests led to ONE key item for Eve), and there are too many gaps in our !! Trigger pool lately...

Farm the nms then? If you don't have enough to do all ws at once (ie a war+nin), then someone could always change jobs mid fight if they need to. Don't skip VV.

Also, pulv is an ironclad. The head form has pretty low hp and isn't *that* hard.

2 procer, a healer, blms. Can go 1 procer if the person has both war and nin level.

Edit: to add to what plow say, there was a post on another thread showing where you can skill up in (s) w/o the mob fighting back. There is really no excuses not to skill up. Took me 2 days to get staff up, and has being lazy.

To add to what rog say, if you have VV pop and don't have the people, I would just wait, that goes for RR too.

How slow do you kill? During >30 hours of farming, I never went an hour with less than 3-4 eve key items.. using only my characters to kill things. You could always farm pops manually. Pulverizer is a joke to kite and a joke to zerg, anything in between will get beaten around a bit. 6man with atma proc? 2 competent RDM/NIN, 2 SMN(or RNG, or melee+WHM with brains, or whatever you want), WAR, NIN. All WS covered and easily kills.. actually getting the WS to proc on the other hand, that shit can suck.
