Does instant killing easy prey chigoes count towards Magian trials? Wondering if I can make 500 vermin a little bit easier...

I'm fairly sure it doesn't, but you could always try leeching cleaves in Attohwa.

I'm installing FFXI again after having quit a year or so ago and was wondering if there are still places to get stuff to make the UI pretty? I used to have FFXiUIMOD to do this. Also has windower changed any over the years or will my old 3.41 still work?

If the trial only requires a kill, it should. I held an army of chigoes in [S] on rdm/blu for a friend to do h2h trial, and he just one shotted them one at a time with his automaton.

Get the new windower from their forums, as well as the UI stuffs.

Abyssea - Konschtat
Do the prerequisites for The Soul of the Matter , to get to that point I suggest you ask friend who has fame to do upgrade, or have like 5 people use mortello so you can replenish & move on to next quest.

Get Clear Demilune Abyssite , grab soulgauger SGR-1 from chest next to the NPC , pop T1 VNM , & take pics like you do with ZNM , have the mob low HP , sleep it , position in front etc , it took me around 6 trades to fame 3 , then alternate between this quest & upgrading mortello #8 , took me like additional 7 trades + fame 5 quest for abyssite .

Abyssea - La Theine
I personally did Unbreak His Heart buy around 50 Willow Fishing Rods from Lusiane in Southern Sand'Oria @( F - 8 ) 72 gil each , set your HP @Outland Guard @(F-12) , go BLM/THF or /BLM , grab visitant => conflux#4 talk to Joulet => conflux #6 => trade Gallijaux => warp rense & repeat , it takes 1 min per visit , so estimated around 50 trades/mins to max fame .

Abyssea - Tahrongi
I did Weapons, Not Worries , buy 7 hardened bones from AH , then do the quest His Box, His beloved , that should put you at fame 2 if u r doing it from scratch , then I alternated between this & Savory Salvation till fame level 4 when you can do the abyssites quests.

Abyssea - Attohwa
Not much repeatable quests & not expensive @fame 1 , so I suggest you do these quests to get fame level 2
Something in the Air x1 => Wayward Wares x1 => Crimson Carpet II (Attohwa) x4 "Resistance Ops"
@level 2 I spammed Looking for Lookouts , start climbing from conflux#7 & drop to conflux#5 , that way is faster , BRD Mazurka , Atma of Ambition , COR movement speed roll , Sprinter , W.legs/Herald/ASA pants will help much to finish the quest fast , should take 4~6 mins per attempt , till fame level 3 when you can do mortello upgrade as well , can do other seals quests like An Acrididaen Anodyne , you will cap fame in no time.

Abyssea - Vunkerl
Go BRD/WHM , start The Boxwatcher's Behest , choose heaviest package , you will get weight effect of -72% movement , have RR on , aggro some Amoeban => die => RR you will lose weight effect , mazurka/atma of ambition => run to conflux #00 , it takes 2 runs per level with heavy package.

Abyssea - Misareaux
I did Smoke Over the Coast , buy 2 stacks of Galkan Sausage +3 => conflux #3 => trade the hungry Galka => exit , rense & repeat around 17 times to fame 6~ , take 90 secs between zoning in , requesting status , trading & zoning out .

Thanks for the links; but I saw on vunkerl there is the one called something like "A Ward to End All Wards" I think it was, where she wants one piece of an abyssean mobs and sanguinets work from what wiki states. I have about 15~ or so of those; wouldn't that be faster then the package? Don't need to zone to redo it, and on the talk page it says from 0 to 3 fame requires 20~ or so.

If you kill them by ws or critical hit and they "fall to the ground," giving no exp, they do not count.

Still, if you have a blm friend the easiest way by far to pass vermin trials is to have an rdm gather them up (easy for rdm to take 0 dmg from chigoes), and kill them with -ga's.

Crit rate doesn't cap at 50%, plenty of people here have long-ish parses showing 54% crit rate.

Somewhere on here mentioned crit dmg+ (ie: what X's knife does) capping at 50% which I can believe.

I am aware Crit Rate doesnt' cap, but the hit has a 50% cap, hence the question.

Lamprey Lord is the hardest of the three you named, but you can Evasion tank it. Acid Mist is hate reset, so Stun it or prepare a hate move after it. I find the fights go fastest if I erase Attack down and push him into Blood Weapon mode, then focus on DDing while he Blood Weapons and hopefully get him near another Blood Weapon to minimize Acid Mists. I duo it BRD+DNC.

Urd is easy, soloable by DNC very easily. I don't even remember anything about the fight. Skuld is harder, but also soloable pretty easily.

Chesma is also easy, but has higher Acc than the other VNMs in my experience. I'd bring a friend /WHM for Paralyna, Stona, and Teleports to other crags.

Anybody know why yoran-oran (attowha) likes to not load so often, or any fix? Getting pretty sick of wasting minutes having to conflux away and back an extra time just to get him to load.

I'm looking to level my 75 THF mule - what are some cheap and easy but not retarded gear I can get for him? Some insight on dagger trials would be nice as well excluding Fire Day/Weather.

Also isit possible to get coins of decay without being in a LS that is dedicated to WOE? I heard you can low man the lesser crabs for a chance of one dropping then come back 30 mins after?

BLUs also works, and probably not as tedious as needing a RDM and BLM along. QC and Diss can usually 1-shot, while Head Butt can often polish off one that might live with a sliver. Could theoretically kill 168/hr like this, but the BLU would need some extra Refresh while possibly being wary of the Aptant NM hiding amongst a chigoe grouping higher up in the southern area. ~100 is more realistic if they have /RDM available and nobody else is killing. Still kind of mind numbing and boring, though, as I had to do this for like 1000+ kills across various stages.
