localize please ; ; It would sell like hot cakes IMO. People over here love the Layton games more than PW. Not that PW is any slouch, but the 2 combined should drive a lot of sales.

I think thanks to Professor Layton alone, it will get localised. The Layton games are a big seller for Nintendo and have helped sell a lot of DS units especially to older people whose families decided to buy it as a gift for them only to sit unused in a drawer somewhere.

Heading West?

Level-5 boss Akihiro Hino has hinted that Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney may make its way west.

Hino was asked about the possibility of a western release for the crossover title at Japan Expo in Paris.

“Something is in the works,” he said, as translated by Vooks from a Nintendo Town report.

“But I can’t talk about it today. Please be patient.”

The 3DS exclusive arrived in Japan last November. Everyone’s been talking about a possible localisation, but Capcom hasn’t committed.
