You have to control the ball all the way through going to the ground. When the ball hit the ground it slid in his hands, so he didn't have complete control at that point - and if a ball isn't in control and is touching the ground it's incomplete.

That happened two weeks ago in Cincy vs Tampa, on tampas game winning drive. Spurlocks sideline catch, he hit the ground and the ball moved around, but it was still upheld.

I agree 100%, those sky sports commentators always have more meaningful analysis and shit to say then ESPN/Fox/etc. ever do. I like those british streams better tbh.

Then again, that isn't saying much given the commentators on ESPN/Fox/etc. so...

Idk why they gave Spurlock the catch, but as long as I have been watching football, that play and the Shiancoe play are both incomplete. Your arms have to be between the ball and the ground, otherwise you are trapping it.
