Nah man it ain't like that. Like 3 people have been Calvin Johnson'd

Even if they tweak the Calvin Johnson rule, Shiancoe's non-catch shouldn't change.
If you think it should change, then you think that when the tip of the ball hit the ground if it had come loose completely and gotten away from him you think that's a completion and a fumble (assuming it's not in the endzone and he's not touched) since you're advocating for it being a completion before the ball hit the ground. And that's not how this shit works. If he'd kept the ball rock-solid in his hands as it touched the ground, it's a touchdown, but it clearly slipped in his hands because of the ground - and an uncontrolled ball touching the ground is an incomplete pass.
I don't agree with that case, no, but the Originator was definitely a catch and a TD.
I agree that it should be, yeah.
Spoiler: show
Looks like the Packers broke Favre's shit (who would've thought Brad Jones would have the honor instead of Clay Matthews?)

Childress: Favre in walking boot, has stress fracture
Minnesota's loss to Green Bay Sunday night will be costly in more ways than one.
Vikings coach Brad Childress revealed at his press conference Monday that Brett Favre is in a walking boot. An MRI revealed Favre has two fractures in his ankle: an avulsion fracture and stress fracture. They will not require surgery.
It's worth noting the injuries can't be overly devastating, because Childress wouldn't rule anything out about Favre's status this week, calling him "day to day."
Asked if Favre has to practice for a chance to play against the Patriots, Childress indicated most players have to practice to play. Childress said Favre wouldn't necessarily get more leeway than anyone else in deciding his status. The coach isn't worried about Favre's starting streak.
"We have to do what's right for Minnesota Vikings," Childress said.
That may not include Favre this week. (Although we'll believe Favre is sitting when Tarvaris Jackson lines up under center, and not before.)
Anyone taking odds on Favre playing the first series against the Patriots to keep his consecutive starts streak alive and then having T-Jack take over for the rest of the game?
I hope Chilly's testicles descend and he puts the kibosh on that.
favre will play in the boot, the record must not be broken

#5 might be coming true lol
#1 and 4 looking laughable though
looking good on 1,3,5. Iffy on 2 and the chargers "start off slow" crap is going on almost too long.1. Vikings miss playoffs
2. Texans make playoffs
3. Chiefs have a Pro Bowler
4. Nate Kaeding hits a FG in the playoffs
5. Pacman does not get suspended
Already picked up New England's defense in fantasy, for Favre's guaranteed pick-6s
Despite my initial prediction of the NFC West champ having a losing record, I don't think the Seahawks are going to have less than 8 wins. The Seahawks are 4-2 and still have the following games: @Oakland, vs. NYG, @ ARI, @ NO, vs. KC, vs. CAR, @ SF, vs ATL, @ TB, vs. StL. I don't think they are going to lose seven of those games. I think 10 wins is achievable, 9 is realistic, 8 is more than likely. The Cards and Rams could get there too, should the Seahawks stumble.
Amazing read from a Vikings fan:

I think this got missed while everyone was watching football. I know, I know, golf in a football thread, but it's worth a watch.
Three guys tie for the lead of a PGA tournament. On the fourth playoff hole, this happens:
The funny part is after this shot, he still had to stand around and wait for the other two guys to take a shot at it to try to match his score.
Lost it about there.I kept expecting Favre to grab his dick after a pick last night so Al could say, "Oop! Look at that! The Sterger controversy is clearly getting to him, Cris."
