Again, Gruden and Cowher are coaches that do not like meddling owners, much like how Parcells was. You saw Jerry got rid of Parcells and found his pussy of coach in Dave Campo, whom he proceeded to push around and punk for 2 seasons before he was fired in favor of lolWade. Jerry is Texan through and through, expect him to reach out to Mike Leach or Alvin Harper as the next coach of the boys.
lol Dexter Coakley to lead the boys in '11.
yes but gruden is great at winning superbowls with teams assembled by other people. they only need him for one year
Yeah man, it's so difficult to stop the run when a second QB is in. Bradshaw still sucks, glad you could beat up on a shitty team. By the way, if I were the giants, I'd be a little worried. I mean you barely beat a shitty team playing their second string QB. Hell we still had a chance to win if our coaches weren't herpderp retarded and if our Def didn't give up halfway through the second quarter.
Don't be mad when John Fox isn't fired at the end of the year because he won 1 game against the sorry ass saints.
chiefs would roll any team in the NFC. real talk
0 TD's too. Even Tebow got his.
This game seriously could not have gone any worse for me. Romo getting hurt and the Cowboys only losing by 6 was the worst possible thing that could happen.
And no, I'm not talking about "WE WOULD'VE WON WITH ROMO" or "GUYZ WE ALMOST WON WITHOUT OUR STARTING QB" or anything else, but the fact that Jerry and Wade now have the best fucking excuses in the world for why this team is dogshit and it isn't even close to the real reasons.
I've been saying it for quite a while, and had a huge blow up this year in these threads I think a couple of weeks ago regarding Jessie Holly getting a roster spot and saying how that speaks to how shitty we have drafted the last two years. Our O-line has been aging and has been a complete after thought by Jerry and company. Once Romo got the starting job, he made the O-line look so much better at pass protection than they were because he could be more elusive than the statue that was Drew Bledsoe. So as far as Jerry was concerned: PROBLEM SLOVED!
But the signs were still there. Romo would still get his ass handed to him by really good D-lines and the Cowboys running game was and is a laughable joke, especially in short yardage and goal line situations. Hell, as much as I give Garrett shit, at least he's been smart enough to realize it and tried to work around those issues with all kinds of misdirection runs and screen passes. He is still a fucking idiot overall, but even that red-headed bastard knows he is fucked before he starts.
Should anyone be surprised? A shitty O-line is blown up by a blitz and a shitty FB couldn't pick it up, so bye-bye Romo. It was bound to happen eventually.
And of course, there is the defense that gave up damn near 500 yards. Of course Mr. Fix-It Wade Phillips made nothing but excuses afterwards saying that there was an obvious "let down" when Romo went down. Great coaching fatass, way to rally the troops there. Teams take on the attitude of their coaching staff: you shat yourself, they shat themselves.
Except for that fucking dumbass Russian who was trying to Ratliff at the end of the game...that motherfucker needs to be shot.
Nothing made me happier than to hear a "Let's Go Rangers" bust out in the middle of Jerry Jones' future tomb and I hope it made his blood fucking boil. I hope to God a home game gets blacked out before this season is over. Jones still doesn't get it and he won't now that Romo is out, 1-15 won't help, a financial dick slap by DFW will.
Fuck this bullshit.
And yes, I'M MAD.
I can see it now:
"With the 1st pick in the 2011 NFL Draft, the Dallas Cowboys select Ryan Mallet, QB, Arkansas"
Stiker, of all Cowboy fans you're my hands down favorite. See I could sit down with you and talk Boys over a few beers and not be in troll cruise control.
Edit: No homo. This aint no MJ party.
If they select a QB, I'm a ravens fan.
Oh and Stiker, I wouldn't credit garrett with those adjustments in the second half. Apparently when Romo came back, he started to help call plays. That's when we started to move the offense ironically enough.
I'm talking about the majority of this season. We haven't been throwing the ball down the field at all this year. Shit, look at the Vikings game, it was screen city. And the misdirection/draws on runs...been doing that since day 1.
He's no genius though. I still want his red-headed ass fired.
