Peyton projected to get 30 points on Monday against Houston.
Fucking ridiculous.

30? in yahoo or espn? if yahoo, that shit will go up in no time. I'd say at least 35. whoever has to play against Peyton this week may be fucked.. though who knows with him missing Dallas Clark.....ah who the hell am I kidding. Some rookie TE's probably gonna go off lol
and lol @ this. Normally I'd agree because their schedule has been eh, but if the Giants aren't one of the top teams in the NFC..who is? The NFC is full of mediocrity this year. If I had to go Top 5 power rankings..they'd all be AFC teams :/
He needs those INT to be on the same level as other great QB's. Look at all the INT thrown by Brees and Favre.
Also Eli is gonna have plenty of competition in the INT department with Cutler active still, don't count him out yet.
Eli throws more INT's because he's trying to beat his brother in all stats. Not his fault, just simple sibling rivalry.
So John Clayton was on this morning's local radio show and said (at the moment) the most likely replacement for Wade Phillips is...
...John Fox!
John Clayton said that the Redskins are the best team in the NFL.
I don't know why so many people are looking only at teams that blow people out as "contenders". I look at the truly dangerous teams: the ones that hang around every game, win or lose by close points, and stay relatively healthy. The big-gun teams tend to struggle in that one game towards the end of the season when the opposing team finally figures them out, or they lose a key player. Typically that one game is in the playoffs, sending them home for the year.
The dangerous teams are the ones that hang around in each game, and they can do that all the way through the playoffs. One upset later, they're playing for the Division title.
That being said, I pick the Giants and the Falcons as the cream of the crop in the NFC, with the Eagles coming in at third, but only if all three teams can keep their best weapons healthy. The Falcons live and die by Roddy White, the Giants have to have Eli upright and need their Wideouts, and the Eagles crumble in late games if they can't keep their Wideouts producing.
Notice a trend? Protect the fucking QB, and get productivity from your top Wideout. These three teams can presumably go all the way if they follow that advice.
Make no bones about it, though: the AFC kicks the crap out of the NFC this year.
The Giants schedule looks a lot easier than it did at the beginning of the year, though. Dallas, Minnesota and Green Bay clearly aren't the teams we thought they would be. Plus they should have layups against Jacksonville and Seattle. They have a decent path to 10 wins which should lock up a bye in the shittastic NFC.
