That they called it 'Arena' is going to, and should, make people nervous about how much of WoW's Arena implementation will get carried over to D3's PvP.

Arena in D3 will be nice. And I guess it's better to pre-order the xpac from Blizz now.. though I do kinda like having the physical disk w/ me (though its no longer needed if you backup since you just need to re-install the basic game and can copy everything over).

And I'm surprised no info on the mmo. It's no secret by now, and its been in development for a few years... so teasing a few SS's or saying what it will be based on would just highten anticipation

they said you could pre-purchase cata soon. They'll let you install it and play cata at midnight on the 7th when they turn on the servers (or something).

Man the wow lore panel is hilarious, so many ugly nerds asking nerdy questions. I don't even know what's going on but it's hilarious.

The guys answering are assholes too. From one-word answers like 'No.' and 'Treating the questions like their trivial' it's so funny watching the faces of the kids looking like they just found out santa isn't real.


Really wish someone was covering the Main stage though, missing the SC2 discussion.

There should be streams covering every livecast. The main stage sc2 map presentation is definitely available on the official paid stream.

Demon hunter was definitely a fun class to play. The ui changes they've done since last year are nice. I'm still betting we won't hear a release date on it at least until 2012. I hope they prove me wrong though. It's making me want to play diabolo 2 again lol

i loved the lore panel. Better than the D&R panel that basically rehashed things that were either already known from beta or they announced last year (everything Firelands). Also wtf @ metzen basically spoiling how Deathwing is gonna be defeated.

They put the Cho'Gall encounter on the PTR. Maybe they don't want another exodus LOS exploit/glyph of holy wrath/saronite bomb episode tainting the early kills of their end-bosses, so they're dropping the veil of secrecy?

i meant on a lore standpoint, not a fight mechanic level of detail. They didn't spoil how Arthas was gonna die before WotLK shipped did they?

Based on several other boss fights, what they revealed isn't exactly surprising. We've had outside help for a lot of "big time" bosses like KJ, Malygos, Arthas, etc.
