Titles that affect gameplay

After completing the quest: "Babban Ny Mheillea" of Windurst. I never knew till that quest that the title alone can affect the gameplay of your character, etc.

Do any other quests exist similar to this one? Or is this the one quest in the game that a title actually gives you a "reward" for having it?

But really, um, off the top of my head, there's the other WotG one with the Wyrm and shell bugs, and the sky teleport from crags.

Where I'm sorta going with this is, can some of the HNM/etc. title be affecting something that we aren't paying attention to. Maybe hidden effects towards battleplay if the title is worn? All speculation.

Would have been an interesting idea of SE to make it so HNMs can't be claimed by people using the title of the monster, therefore hurting RMT a little bit. Granted it would have to be kept entirely secret.

That's where I got the idea for PW since it was added in the same update, but sadly, it didn't work out.


It's the only title to my knowledge that will give you special interaction with the environment, but there is a few "equip the title" quest out there.

The crag Teleportion to sky. Trade a cyan(?) chip to the right teleport inside a crag, and go examine the green teleport in sky with the title equiped.

Lastly, concerning Marbles, will there be more rewards added for trade?

No idea if this has been implemented or not, and I haven't heard anything from the folks who do Maze Mongers. Some of the title have hefty requirements for number of mazes cleared, and marble cost. Current titles available include:

Might be complete speculation but I heard somewhere that to activate the latent on the weapon Foolkiller (drops from Sarameya, znm), you need to be wearing a specific title.

I don't exactly remember which title it was, maybe someone else can enlighten :3

When equipped with "Wyrmsworn Protector" title, tradinga Shell Bug to Areuhat while she is in town, will result in her transforming into her wyrm form for campaign.

I'm almost 100% certain you do not need the title currently active to do this. To trade shell bugs, you just need to have completed Beast from the East at some point in your career.

Also, trading shell bugs to her in a city will merely influence her to join your nation. Trading a shell bug in battle transforms her.

In the thread Elmer posted where he was translating from some guide or something (this was awhile ago) they disproved that. I can't recall if it was from Elmer's translations, but someone said that it had the same latent as Futsuno, which means its active during WS.
