Wow, I have no idea where else to put this, but would anyone living in New York want a guest for a week for about $100+ dollars? From about December 28-January2.

I am in need of a vacation and I figured, well, why the hell not ask BG!

I'm cute, and super lovable. :) I would exchange pictures and phone numbers. Purely a friendship visit, so no sex, sorry males!

Anyway, wouldn't recommend staying with anyone you don't actually know. There are some nice places you can stay in good parts of NY that aren't too much more than you are already looking to pay. You'll be safer and probably have a better time not having to listen to any rules and without having to sleep with a knife under your pillow (no guns in nyc).

What I would recommend, is meeting someone from here to show you some things and take you to a few places (ie ramen shops yeah!) but not staying with them. There are quite a few people that would be willing to do that and you wont have to vacation in fear.

uh... well not sure how this would work, i live with my pops, if some how magically i convince him to get you to stay you could stay in the living room, don't get your hopes up though

Unless I'm being whooshed, there's no way she'll be able to find a nice place to stay in the NYC area for a few days for 100+ dollars unless that's a daily rate.

I'll probably be up in NYC for NYE and stuff, staying at my cousins and his gf's place on 83rd and Lexington. I can only say my plans are tentative as far as that weekend goes.

I'd offer up my place but I don't have my own transportation as I live about an hour away. I've housed people before and I'd have no reason to believe that you'd do anyone here any harm. Besides I sleep with a wooden bat next to my bed anyway.

Also don't feel bad about asking here because I've thought about doing this as well.

I have a couch in my new apartment. There's technically a 2nd bedroom but I've converted that into a geek room where I put all my things. If you like sleeping in recliners then it might be suitable, otherwise the couch. Also if you are white and/or have a fine ass, expect to have all the guys who post up outside hit on you and possibly grab it. This is in the projects, which is(predominantly) populated by blacks and my fellow latinos, and fat asses and white women are up there on our list of things we like.

Staying over a stranger place isn't necessarily dangerous as long as you take the precautions. Inform your family and others about where you are staying at, do your research beforehand, etc.

The Vanderbilt Y has an NYC hostel, don't know the price though. Lots of people stay there.

PS: Don't craigslist. Someone recently rented out a room in my house, and got paid for it. We're not renting. Multiple people have showed up at our door.

There are some rooms available in the Woodside area. Price range is from $100-140 a week.

Note: The rooms are empty. Therefore, you will need to bring your own shit. Also, you will be near the 7 train and the 7 train will take you directly to Times Square. (42nd street)
