    Final Fantasy XIV Problem :(

    Hey so I finnaly got to upgrading my laptop and I picked up FFXIV and I absolutly love it! But I keep getting disconnected from the game sever like atleast 3 times per sit-down and it gets irratating cause it always happens in the middle of a well paying guild leve. At first I thought it was on my end but I looked it up and apparntly its not just me buy a big chunk of FFXIV players having this problem? I was just wondering if any of you guys had this problem or any tips on how to fix it or should I just wait for the ps3 version? Anyway thanks!

    There is a FFXIV forum, and a Tech sub forum you probably would get better advice there. I'm sure a mod will move this, anyways, though.

    i very rarely get disconnected from the game. And when I do get disconnected, I find that it is because the whole zone crashes cause everyone I am with goes out too.

    ymmv, post your region/ISP provider for people to compare with yours.

    Gonna need your laptop's current specs. Also, you should know that laptops are VERY picky with this game because it's so machine heavy. The most likely reason you're crashing is because the machine is overloaded in some way - either from heat, lack of power (i.e. if you're not plugged in), or just a GPU that can't handle the demand.
