Cuts/scrapes on joints

Anyone have any tips for dealing with cuts/scrapes on joints? Seeing as bending the ligament will always result on a stretch and possible reopening of said wound, could be a problem in the healing process.

Got a decent sized scrape on my knee that's begun to scab up, but I bike 16+ miles on a school day, etc. Any suggestions for dealing with this?

There's nothing special for you to do except keep it clean and stuff. If the scab splits let it redry with your knee bent so it scrunches up when the joint is straight. Of course, that'll pinch and probably bleed anyway. It'll heal eventually one way or another, even if it leaves a scar.

Super glue. Clean and disinfect the cut before applying.

this, of course i'd use liquid bandaid instead, but super glue is fine too.

Should also be careful not to give said blowjobs on floors with fecal matter on them, could leave to the cut being infected.

He said he biked 16+ miles on a school day... so 9 miles max one way? 30-40 minutes pedaling?

Less likely to reopen by scrunching than by stretching, in my experience

Yea, it's 8 miles there, 8 miles back Tues/Thurs. Mon/Wed, I go to 2 diff campuses, so it's 6 miles to one campus from my house, 6 miles to the other campus from that one, and 8 miles from that one back to the house. Def not 16 miles 1 way.

And I has no car

Funny story behind this one though. Was going from Campus B to A (A is my main campus, only have 1 class at the other so I call it B, even though I go there first). Light turned red so all the cars in front of me were slowing down and stopping, so what I usually do is merge onto the sidewalk and keep going my way, but for some reason, instead of ground level, this particular driveway was about an inch and a half of concrete that my skinny bike tires just wouldn't agree with, busted my ass. Almost like CJ from San Andreas, landed a good 2-3 feet away from my bike. I'm sure many lulz were to be had via spectators, as if I were in a car and saw what happened to me happen to someone else, I'd have been laughing my ass off.

Let it scab up with your leg bent. If that doesn't help, superglue. Or you could get these super weird bandaids that I used to use back in football for elbow/knee scrapes. I can't remember what they're called but they come in a metallic looking box. Only like 4 to a pack. You shouldn't have any problem with it coming off, the adhesive is beast and the bandaid itself rarely suffered damage even with me playing football everyday with it on for a week+. Basically it seals the entire cut/scrape off and makes a huge ball of medicine that is constantly applied.

If you're going with the superglue method then get the Nu-Skin or Dermabond brand of liquid bandage. Dermabond is literally superglue but it is chemically altered so it no longer produces a reaction with water that creates formaldehyde.

actually, super glue works much better. It stings a bit more at first but last much longer and is much stronger/durable. Perfect for 16 mile bike rides.

One time I saw a kid trying to skip down a hill, he quickly went face first into the pavement. Our car was full of lulz.
