i think one thing i hate myself for liking when i was younger was limp bizkit lol. and probably mcdonalds/other fast food joints with such a shitty none-active lifestyle.

i dont regret a thing about FFXI. i've made some friends who i will know for the rest of my life on that game, and will always brag to my grandkids about how rukenshin wished his elvaan ass was as cool as mine along with some mnk/sam/nin stuff

Anime as a genre obviously has its standouts (Miyazaki stuff, Grave of the Fireflies, Bebop, Full Metal Alchemist, Monster) but outside of Grave of the Fireflies and maybe Bebop, my life would not be any worse for not having seen any animu.

Limp Bizkit definitely belongs on that list but so does most of the awful shit anybody listens to as teenagers (and really back in those days, what were you gonna listen to for mainstream contemporary music that wasn't boy band nonsense?). Limp Bizkit/Kid Rock introduced me to Eminem and mainstream rap, which introduced me to awesome shit like Wu-Tang so s'all good in my book.

I guess anime got me to watch Kurosawa movies when I was a weaboo as well so it had some positive effects?
