    Firefox 4 and google

Does anyone using firefox 4 get errors trying to search on google? If I open it in a new tab and hit search, it just defaults to a blank tab. Apparently the google toolbar built into firefox works just fine. Aside from the work around is there a way to fix it?

this makes me wonder because FF4 has been working perfect for me through every version. i just signed out of google so i should've had no preferences active and it defaults to instant search for me (therefore never even having to click the search button). it doesn't do that for you? i've been using only FF4 at work, and only IE9 at home, and while i like both, i've definitely had more bugs with IE9. actually similar to what you are saying, links going straight to a blank tab.

There is no instant search. I have to hit the search button and that just ends up with a blank tab.

Somewhat related; is there another hotkey that brings you to the quicksearch? Used to be Ctrl+E and was wonderful, now have to mouse over to it and sad.

EDIT: Nevermind, it's now Ctrl+K, good to know!

Been getting a blank search entry myself the odd time when I search on Google. A bit annoying, but nothing that reloading the tab resolves. Running FF4 on OSX here btw.

Seems the problem fixed it self.
