  • The upcoming version update will see an increase to maximum limit for point allocation in certain merit point categories.
    
    

    • Maximum Total Ability Increase by Category
      
      

      • HP/MP: Increased from 8 to 12
      • Attributes: Increased from 5 to 8
      • Combat Skills: Increased from 20 to 32
      • Magic Skills: Increased from 16 to 24
      • Others: Increased from 8 to 10
    • Maximum Number of Upgrades by Ability
      
      

      • HP/MP: Increased from 8 to 12

      • Others: Increased from 4 to 5

Thank god. It's getting annoying sitting on capped exp, capped merits, 20/20 merits, and 9999/10000 until next merit. This should tide me over for a few weeks at least.

Jesus christ. I've wanted this for so long. Also, freaking finally. No more 24% crit rate.

Parrying and Axe are getting capped, even if Parrying isn't going to do anything for me!
Dark magic gets to fight Summoning magic for my magic skill merits.

Crit hit rate, HP, and STR get priority for my merit points though. I'm totally not going out and meritting for it either. I'm actually going to be able to use the xp I get in Abyssea killing random NMs for once.... so much xp wasted in the last few months ; ;

awesome, but still wish for a higher magic cap. feeding blm ele and enf merits consumed my entire suite of magic merit allocations and w/ the current upgrade i can only choose 1 brd magic skill to lvl w/o cannibalizing blm. a good start, but i think they missed the mark, at least in that category.

Im sure what i was expecting will come in handy next lv cap update though.
