Jacob's Ladder

Tim Robbin's 1990 psychological horror thriller Jacob's Ladder is getting remade, and it's coming from the writer of Midnight Meat Train, Jeff Buhler. This movie was amazing, and if you haven't watched it yet, you need to now!

The story follows a haunted Vietnam vet who attempts to discover his past while suffering from a severe case of disassociation and mourning his dead child. "To do so, he must decipher reality and life from his own dreams, delusion, and perception of death."

According to THR, the producers of the film are "looking to make something more akin to an homage and not mimic the original. The plan is to contemporize the story with new situations and characters but still maintain a story that examines issues and poses existential questions."

They are currently on the hunt for a director. Hopefully they get someone talented that can do something new and different.
