This just started last night. Basically, whenever I open youtube (doesn't matter what browser) this loud popping noise keeps going off at random intervals. It's as if I'm being bombarded with text messages. My laptop is fairly new so I'm not sure what the issue is.

Is it a sound actually played through the speakers or is it a sound your laptop is physically making?

I actually have this on my laptop, but only if I boot into Ubuntu. I think it might be something with the GPU? Is it a laptop you're using?
