    Reformatting W7 computer - Self Built Comp

    How would I go by reformatting my self-made PC, OEM W7, without the original discs... or any discs that I cannot find? Got hacked and want to do this before I go through the recovery process for FFXI

    Also, if I upgrade to W8, will that reformat my HDD? Is that another viable option?

    If you move to w8, you should do a fresh install and reformat anyway. If you want to just reinstall 7 here is everything you need. http://forums.mydigitallife.info/thr...s-7-Repository

    http://www.mydigitallife.info/offici...digital-river/ (download same version you have) + some program that can recover the activation key (assuming you can still access windows) if you want to stay legit.
