Bomback has worked on several high profile film projects in his career such as Live Free or Die Hard, Unstoppable, Total Recall, The Wolverine and even the 24 movie that will eventually happen.

Twentieth Century Fox announced that principal photography is underway on Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. Andy Serkis, celebrated for his performance in the last film, reprises his role as Caesar. Dawn of the Planet of the Apes also stars Jason Clarke (Zero Dark Thirty, Public Enemies, The Great Gatsby), Gary Oldman (The Dark Knight Rises, The Harry Potter film series), Keri Russell (The Americans, Mission Impossible III), Toby Kebbell (The Prince of Persia, Wrath of the Titans, Rock N Rolla), Kodi Smit-McPhee (Let Me In, ParaNorman), Enrique Murciano (Traffic, Black Hawk Down), Kirk Acevedo (The Thin Red Line) and Judy Greer (The Descendants, Three Kings, 13 Going on 30).

sucks.. was really hoping for a human pandemic movie as a sequel with the third leading into the battle between human and apes. If this movie is any good that trailer did it no justice.

Oh hey, I just saw the whole movie in 2 minutes! Will still go see it, but aside from initial trailers, I think I'm done with them. This gave away like, the entire story.

Great film - better than the first as far as ape action goes. Felt long for a 2hr film but the pacing was good. Some really good creepy shots too. That Kabo.

Wasn't bad. I still have a hard time suspending my disbelief with some scenes.

A single ape takes down a tank with 3 people in it and a top mounted machine gun? Gtfo. This is someone off-set by the fact that this movie allowed me to seriously utter the phrases "monkey coup d'etat" and "roaming monkey death squads."
