Installing two different versions of Playonline (US/EU) simultaneously

I'll spare you my story of utter failure and frustration.

Has anybody had success installing multiple versions of Playonline (EU and US)?

I remember being able to do this in 2008, I just can't figure out how I did it.

I've got JP and NA POL Viewers installed. I manually installed them to different locations.

Kay but how'd you go about that? When I try installing the second POL it only gives the option to uninstall the first POL, even though it's installed on E: and the default installation is C:.

I'm using the setup .exes downloaded from their websites, maybe that has something to do with it.

At this point I'm at my wits end, I'm nearly settled on purchasing a cheap laptop to use this alt account on.

Installed to a path with a region code in the name, copied the reg keys from there to an external reg file, copied the install folder. Installed other version, did the same. Copied older install back and implanted the registry entries.

The key is replacing NA with EU or vice versa where applicable.

I use an NA account, and an EU account, and only installed POL once (at least that I remember).

I just added another account to my POL, and that was that.

I know I only use one POL to login with both accounts, that's for sure.

I tried this, and it worked. I feel retarded. I was using my laptop for my alternate account but being able to dual box on my PC at home is 100 times easier than PC+laptop.

Only reason I had both installed was before the SquareEnix accounts, I had to pay my fees via the JP POL client, but to launch the English game interface, had to run the NA POL client.

Ah, I got the EU account after the SE accounts, so I have no idea how it was done before.
