Da Vinci's Demons is a television drama series in production about Leonardo da Vinci's early life, scheduled to première on Fox and Starz networks.[3] The series is being written by David S. Goyer and marks the first collaborative effort between Starz and BBC Worldwide under a new co-production agreement formed after the production of Torchwood: Miracle Day.[4][5] Described as an historical fantasy, the series will explore the untold story of da Vinci "inventing" the future at the age of 25. The series mythology is also rumored to involve the mystery cult known as the Sons of Mithras.[6] Eight episodes of the series have been ordered by Starz,[7] with the series premiering on April 12, 2013.[2] It was filmed in Swansea, Wales.

Premieres after Spartacus, noticed the first episode on torrent tracker this morning, don't know if Starz put it up early on their site or something.

Finally caught a showing of it. I liked the story a lot actually. The scene transition CGI was terrible but honestly, so what. I'm at least intrigued enough to give it a few more episodes. Remember, Spartacus was pretty terrible to a lot of people for the first 2-3 episodes.

just read that matt fraction and jonathan hickman will be writing two episodes of season 2. they will be the best two episodes in the history of television.

Fuck those movies. So damn terrible. I chose to go to sleep in my womans lap in the theater. Books were good though.

So yeah, three episodes in and I can't see anyone not liking this if they're actually giving it a chance instead of going in looking for shit. I really enjoy the story arc and the character developments that I've seen. It's not Game of Thrones, but it's pretty damn amazing to me.

I've been watching and enjoying this show, although I'm at least an episode behind. I thought it would be like those shit movies but was thoroughly surprised that it wasn't.

season 3 started airing earlier, and idk what's going on but certain websites seem to have the first 5 episodes already, with possibly more on the way?
