Guildwork Plugin: who uses it to manage raids?

I've been told that the GW plugin has functionalities similar to some addons I was using on WoW.
Something that takes a "snapshot" of the people in your party/alliance the moment you use a certain command (//gw raid start?) and automatically creates an event with attendance on your LS's Guildwork page.

Anybody has any experience on this? I cannot seem to find documentation on how to use these things.

it use to be /gw raid-start lsname eventname & /gw raid-stop , but that was a long time ago, not tried recently

Where do you find documentation about that?
I only found this page and it doesn't say anything about those commands.
So I assume the prerequisites for using it are:

1) Event called "X" created on forums
2) Load GW and use the command with the event name
3) Being GW Premium member?

The documentation is not there anymore, I don't know when it was removed. I farmed through our old ls's admin forums on gw because we had an issue starting it years ago. Stan helped us out with correct format.
Site needs to be premium I believe, I have tried in game , it appears to activate still, but I get upgrade site plan. (I don't pay for the site anymore, its dead)

Guildwork calls them that way, which is the main reason why I decided to adhere to the very same terminology

Our website is a paid site, and I tried this with gw loaded and all I get is error occurred while connecting to gw. Do not know if it is a problem at my end or gw end.

Tbh I fear it might be a problem on GW's end.
Either that or:
1) The syntax is not exact (Supa said he wasn't 100% sure)
2) The syntax changed

Is there some way to contact the Guildwork guys? They have no forum, nothing for support or anything

He's the founder of Guildwork. Apparently they removed the support forum they used to have, and just have a ticket system now. You could also try posting it to the main Guildwork feed...

Thank you for the information. I really appreciate the help. Unfortunately when I type that it says Raid Tracker>> "Paycheck" does not exist. Paycheck is the pool name but the pool is made with that name, so idk what is going on with it. Our site is paid, we have two pools but the second pool is different name so should not affect it you would think. Also does type of pool affect it? We don't use dkp pool anymore since doing away with point system but use a loot council pool. Anyway, I did send a mssg to Stan for some feedback. Thanks for the help. Will post in here when I hear back from him to let everyone who might have this issue know what he says.

So I heard back from Stan but he told me a whole lot of nothing. lol I mentioned in my mssg to him that it was for a FFXI ls but he sent me a reply saying if I was playing FF14 then Raid tracker is not supported on 14, and if I paid for that option while playing 14 I could get a refund. I sent him a mssg back telling him no I was not on FF14, that I was on FF11. Waiting for a response again.

Altough I guess it's understandable. He probably has to deal with countless messages every day, I can see how you could lose context of some of them every now and then.

If you are using this on FF14 it does not work, it only works for FF11 currently because we don't have some of the hooks into the game required to make it work.

I can provide a refund if thats the feature you paid for.

Given how there is a complete lack of information for this feature, and since Stan was finally able to resolve the issue in why it was not working (had a extra space after pool name on my linkshell website, and also have 2 linked linkshells to the same website, and did not have pool assigned to which linkshell) I have a few questions for anyone that has ever used this feature. How does it really work and what does it really do?

When starting a new raid it adds the participant that initially started it though had another char in party when started it and they were not added. Does it add people automatically, and what can be expected from it?

Yeah Supa and Mafai, since you seem to have been using the function in the past, it would be nice if you could share some details.
Ok now the command works... so what?
What is supposed to be happening? The person using the command, providing the has sufficient rights, will "upload" a list of pt members on the website to check who attended and who didn't? What else?

I did not use it but I thought that any item / person in party between start / stop was logged and added into the raid automatically.

I thought it was automatic too but idk. Not really sure how it works, and all the info online about it went poof.
