honestly got reminds me so much of what happened with battlestar galactica. show was loved and hyped as the greatest show, and i being one of those people for both, then by the end you're just so pissed off at the writers for flat out not knowing how to end a show in a way that doesnt fall apart completely. the final season was so bad in bsg people literally strike it from memory just to have any semblance of being able to think fondly of it at all
maybe everyone is wrong with got though. maybe the last 2 episodes are total genius, who knows

I still think they fucked up making a John Wick 2. I'm of the mind that the sequel should have been titled after some other character in the universe. Continue world building with no reference to the Wick character.

John Wick 3
John Wick 1 establishes the bad ass that is John Wick. John Wick 2 goes on with amazing world building. You’re genuinely super interested in how everything works by the end of it. I have full faith and confidence Chapter 3 will live up to the standards set by 1 and 2.
My one and only concern is Halle Berry.

The best description I've heard of the John Wick movies is that the theme of the first one is "you did this to you" and the sequel is "I did this to me."
