Merry Christmas BG folks! What are you doing? What kinda loot did you give out and receive?

Hi everyone, I guess since I've done this for the last X amount of years (I don't even remember now) but I have to continue the tradition.

These last couple years have been particularly trying for everyone, I'm sure. A lot of us have suffered loss and had to deal with financial hardships among other things. I know I've had a couple of major losses that sent me reeling.

But family and friends continue to be a constant reminder how they can help you get past hard times, whether they be close or far. And even though most of us don't "know" each other in real life (though I've had the pleasure of meeting a few BG'ers) you guys are always there every day to read through threads and reply.

Even though all of us don't always see eye to eye (or sometimes ever lol) we've got a good community here. So with all that being said...

Merry Christmas! Have a great and safe holiday! What did you all give out this year? What did you get!? I'll report in later, but I was focused on making sure the family members in need got taken care of this year and made sure the kids were happy.

I got to spend my first Xmas Eve staying up until 3 am putting together a thing. Poor guy woke up a lot in between cause he got sick. Definitely not letting it slow him down currently.

Got the 3-year-old a bunch of of those Melissa and Doug wooden educational toys. We probably have the whole collection at this point. His birthday is around Thanksgiving so we got him a big gift then which was a Woom balance bike and Christmas will be for smaller stuff. The infant got infant stuff lol, but the big thing is one of those hatch night lights.

My wife got me a few new hoodies which I desperately needed cuz I always wear the same three all the time wand a really nice vegan or vegetarian cookbook that I'm excited to dig into.

I got her some Michael kors bootie things they are some kind of ankle Boots or something. We wear a ton of sneakers she doesn't have really anything dressier to wear or anything for the weather.

Wife got me a transformer I was hunting for. I sprung for her to stay at GCH on one of her solo trips and I blew way tooich money on a gaming PC, so that's about it for us for Christmas.

Got the Mrs some NOS/OEM parts for her Corvette. Gonna be fun working on that together & getting it ready for a Route 66 road trip.

Got my parents new jackets, brother an sister-in-law some board games they wanted, and my sister and her boyfriend some giftcards they wanted. Wife got her parents some travel stuff since they're retired and starting to take more road trips, and various legos for the nieces and nephews.

Gifted the wife this nice puzzle board table and a Kate Spade purse she wanted. Wife got me the legs for an autonomous standing desk on black Friday, and a fatigue mat to go with it.
