second ascent

i made it thru the first ascent fairly easily no major problems.

second ascent was a little harder but made it to the boss and beat fenrir np

now im at the elevator with all the different altars that remove certain powers from you i.e. magic, techniks, items, attack as well as turning the door a different color each time

wtf do i do to open up the elevator to get to the top?

do i need to go down a couple levels and explore?

If you already did the part where your power is sealed and you climb, now you're at the part where your power is returned. Once your power is returned you can use the elevator. (iirc)

To return your power click on the tower of your lost power.

im at the point where i first see the elevator come down. there are also 4 altars that take away a power, activating one altar takes a power away but wont give me access to the elevator

i assume that this elevator takes me to the 3rd ascent but i dont know how to get on it.

i suppose there is something i missed somewhere along the multiple floors inside the second ascent

If you already beat the boss, hit the alter of which you have no power. It will give it back and elevator comes down.

goddam i hate this fucking dungeon

i got the elevator to work after fiddling around (thx falcon for info i just didnt realize it)

so im on the third ascent where you have the 4 different sipil(sp) you click one and it warps you around.

the pillar says something about being punished if you do it wrong....

so being punished i assume is being warped to the area with the undead and ghosts that pop

ive been sent to this area 2 times now and i do my best to try and beat them all but they keep repoping

is there some kind of trick to this part as well???

I got through that part by pure luck lol
I think it has something to do with the colors of the sealed doors (like the door of night on the first floor) but I can't remember the order I hit them in, and I think at the end you hit a hidden waystone behind a fool's facade wall

well when i get sent to be punished there are 4 pillars and i can read them before i get ass whooped

the first says: night so i assume dark/black (hit the black pillar)

the second says: something about flame but also earth, at first i assumed fire but when i got to the dark/black floor there was no flame sipil(sp) so im going to try earth (but there are 2 ><)

the third says: same as the second so if greed works on next try im going to assume green again

the forth says: says sacrafice so thats the purple one since its says sacrafice right on it.

i hope im fucking right this time im getting angry

It should be yellow for the 4th one. I just did sacrifice x2 my 2nd time through (reroll) so I could get the urn. Also I actually found cleanse this time so I didn't get raped from being diseased like when I got there from a mistake first time lol...

just got done with this place, biggest bitch of a dungeon Ive been through in a long time.


fight through some stuff, undead dragon boss, fight through stuff to open a door, fight through stuff to make bridges appear, turtle boss that goes invincible to everything 1/2 way through, fight through stuff, big fish boss that has perma hundred-fists and hits like a truck, fight through hard ass undead mobs that come at you 4 at a time, another boss, fight through hair-trigger bombs and dragons while trying to figure out wich ports to use, boss with en-disease that hits even harder than the fish, another boss, another boss that goes invincible and summons his own boss that you have to kill before you can finish him, then its FINALLY OVER

This dungeon took me 5 hours, I didn't even have the ability to cure disease for that certain fight. Just a huge, horrible, torturous dungeon the likes of which I have not seen in a long, long time.
